Forever 27 – ‘There is only way to remain Forever 27, but is it wroth dying for?’ – a play about the rock music myth of rock stars dying at age twenty-seven, as Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse and others.
Harry and Haw-Haw – a play about William Joyce, (aka Lord Haw-haw) the fascist who broadcast for Germany during World War Two. The play uses a Music Hall comedian who impersonated Lord Haw-Haw as a doppelganger to show how Lord Haw-Haw’s image was fashioned in the minds of the British during the war.
Room Service – a play about a man, Max, who finds that when he checks into a hotel, room service is provided by Laura, a virtual avatar. A relationship develops between the two of them as he discovers that by being connected to Big Data, Laura not only knows everything about him but is able to predict what he will do – even when he consider murder.
Swag – a play about a group of South London chancers who decide to dig a tunnel to rob an ATM.
Undercover Sam – a play for children written with Andy Patterson, set in the near future where books are a thing of the past and multi-channel TV is owned by one corporation.
The Prize – a play that updates The Trial to a world where people expect something for nothing as opposed to being punished for existing.
New England – a full length version of the one act play about the relationship that develops between a gangster and an old upper class lady when he breaks into her house. The script was a finalist in the BRIT New Writing awards.
Stranger on the Shore – a full length version of the one act play about a couple who trade in their delinquent son for a better behaved import.
The Royal Game – an adaption of the story by Stefan Zweig about a game of chess between a man escaping the Nazis and man whose style of play represents their ideology.
Adam – a full length version of the monologue performed at The Space about a man who worked for an ex-Nazi on a plantation and the effect it had on his life (the script was down to final cut in a recent BBC Writersroom window).
